Enterprise and private deployment

Agree the operating model with XferAPI

For workloads beyond self-serve limits or teams that require a managed private environment. Quota, request capacity, deployment boundary, upgrades, support, and service commitments are defined in the commercial agreement.

Configuration capacity

Room for each product boundary

These are creation limits. Existing configuration stays operational after a downgrade; only adding another resource is blocked while the current plan limit is reached.

Every ledger counts, including a disabled ledger. The built-in points asset and the built-in -1 and -2 platform account definitions do not consume additional allowances. A ledger without points does not receive an unused hidden slot. Each platform account range counts as one definition and may contain 1–20 IDs. Actions and scenes are not plan-tiered.

Runtime limits

Four independent traffic and transfer boundaries

Choose for real traffic and transfer shape rather than treating monthly quota as a throughput promise.

Monthly quota

Counts each newly completed transfer or Console balance adjustment once.

Sustained API rate

A continuously refilling Workspace token bucket protects every authorized API request and Console balance write.

Immediate burst

Allows a short traffic spike above the steady per-second refill rate; it is not extra monthly quota.

Transfer entries

Caps the combined source and destination entries in one business transfer.

The first-version Workspace bucket runs in one API process. A shared gateway or Redis limiter is required before horizontal scaling turns these values into one global Workspace limit.

Pricing questions

Monthly quota and rate protection are intentionally separate so usage remains understandable.

What counts toward the monthly quota?

Each newly completed ordinary transfer or Console balance adjustment counts once. Exact idempotent retries, validation failures, insufficient-balance failures, reads, reversals, and XferAPI-managed expiration work do not consume monthly quota.

Which requests use the rate limit?

Every authorized API-key request uses the Workspace-shared token bucket, including reads, metadata, lists, batch reads, successful calls, and business failures after authorization. Console transfers, adjustments, and reversals use the same bucket; ordinary Console page reads and control-plane actions do not. The requests-per-minute value is sustained refill, while burst is immediate capacity; neither is monthly quota.

Does the Free plan require a payment card?

No. A new workspace starts on Free without a payment card. You can choose a paid plan later from the Console.

What happens to existing configuration after a downgrade?

It keeps working. Existing workspaces, ledgers, assets, platform account definitions, and complete account ranges remain available and editable. The current plan only blocks creation of another resource while its relevant limit is reached. Traffic quota, rate, burst, and entries per transfer change when the downgrade takes effect.

How many Free workspaces can one user create?

A user may create up to two Free workspaces they own. Workspaces joined as a member do not count. Existing workspaces remain operational if later downgrades leave that owner above two, but another Free workspace cannot be created while the owner is at or above the limit.

Is private deployment included in a self-serve plan?

No. Managed private deployment has an agreed environment and commercial scope. Contact sales to discuss deployment, upgrades, support, and operating boundaries.
